​When you hunt this slice of challenging wilderness environment, you can expect to see regularly, the whitetail buck waving his white tail at you, humbly reminding us of his finely tuned survival skills. This preserve is several hundred of acres (240+) of towering, heavy old-growth Poplar, Spruce, Birch, and some Pine, loaded with many small rolling hills, and brushy ravines where the game can hide, it is 100% forested. Several slews and natural meadows, are where the game feed early and late in the day. Like I said before, this preserve is not a commercial farm or ranch that moonlights as a hunt preserve. It is strictly a hunt preserve, and the environment is one of the finest and most challenging in Saskatchewan. Imagine your self waiting in a blind, or still hunting on foot, drifting in a Jon Boat and being confronted at extremely close range by that trophy of a lifetime. You will get up close and personal, and challenge wits with your quarry. Average shots are 20-40 yards and we specialize in archery and limited range weapons. Hunting on this preserve is challenging, and all hunting is done in large tree stands or by still hunting, in a “Fair chase” environment. All shots will be close and exciting, and a hunter can enjoy the thrill of calling the animals in close before they shoot.

We keep the stocking density to a minimal. Hunters will enjoy seeing lots of trophy-quality game each day, keeping it exciting and enjoyable, but not unnatural or overstocked. Hunters have a choice each day on how they would like to hunt. A typical day starts with you and your guide going out to your enclosed blind over a variety of small feeding areas, waterholes, or mineral licks. The middle of the day is spent still hunting the heavy timber, having lunch in the lodge, still hunting the afternoon or in the Jon Boat, and returning to a different stand in the evening. Hunters stay in a deluxe comfortable wood heated cabin right on the preserve. We have hot showers at camp and you will fall asleep to the bugle of the elk and awake to it each morning for a new adventure in this sportsman paradise.
